Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Cassi! We want you to love your DIY telescope kit, but if it’s not quite right, here’s how our return and refund process works.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Timeframe: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return.
Condition: Returned kits must be unopened or undamaged and include all original components and packaging.
2. Acceptable Reasons for Return
Wrong Item Shipped – You received a kit that doesn’t match your order.
Changed Your Mind – It’s just not the right fit for you.
Missing Parts (only if the kit arrived sealed but incomplete).
Note: If your kit arrived damaged in transit, please see Section 4 below—do not attempt to return it through the standard process.
3. How to Initiate a Return
1) Contact Customer Service within 30 days of purchase:
Subject line: “Return Request – Order # [Your Order Number]”
2) We’ll reply within 1–2 business days with a prepaid return label and detailed packing instructions.
3) Pack your kit securely in its original box (or similar protective packaging).
4) Attach the prepaid label and drop off at the specified carrier location.
4. Reporting Damaged Kits
If your kit arrived damaged, please email us immediately at contact@cassi-telescope.com with:
Photos of the damage (external box and any affected parts)
Your order number and date of purchase
We’ll review and either send replacement parts or arrange a special return.
5. Refund Process & Timeline
Once we receive and inspect your returned kit, we’ll process your refund within 14 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund is complete.
Important: Refunds cover the full product price. Shipping charges are non-refundable, except when the wrong or damaged item was shipped.
